Farewell to Democracy,
Fascism now hailed!
Supreme Court of Injustice
has yet again failed.
A political body--
now insurmountable;
the ones at the top
still not accountable.
How I wish I had more hope,
that our nation's end is far away.
"And crown thy good with brotherhood".
Certainly not today.
"Land of the noble free".
'My Country,
Tis of Thee.'
'sweet land of liberty.'
'Long may our land be bright'
Instead, have we sadly
breathed our last,
lost the light?
